FxPro is a solid broker for UK traders looking for a variety of platform integrations, combined with tight spreads. They are in some ways very similar to Pepperstone – with cTrader, a commission-based account and tight spreads. So let’s explore the advantages and disadvantages of FxPro.

FxPro: Broker Review 2026

FxPro claims to be the ‘World’s #1 Broker‘, so a review on Trading Brokers has been long overdue. Are they actually that good? Who are they built for, and how do they stack up compared to alternatives like Pepperstone, Capital.com, IG and CMC? Let’s explore.

FxPro Homepage claiming 'The World's #1 Broker'.
FxPro Homepage claiming ‘The World’s #1 Broker’.

TLDR: FxPro looks exciting on the outside: with 2,100+ instruments, 5 platforms (cTrader, FXPro app, MT4, MT5 and TradingView), a ‘Raw’ account with 0.0 pip spreads + $3.5 (so $7 round-trip) costs, and a spread betting account – the closest comparison is Pepperstone (2,700+ instruments, 5 platforms and £4.5/$7 round-trip commission on their Razor account). However, FXPro has steep minimum deposits for its commission-based account ($700 USD), a high inactivity fee of $10 after 6 months, and no public commitment to its spread pricing. They also lack market analysis for more advanced traders. All of this makes FxPro kind of not really ‘pro’ at all…

Their standout feature was their spread pricing and mobile app; we consistently got low spreads of c. 0.3-0.5 pips on forex CFD majors, which is extremely tight and up there with the best, including IG and CMC Markets.

Best Spread Pricing for UK Traders

FxPro, despite not actively advertising its spread costs, is one of the lowest-cost brokers for standard CFD spread pricing, apart from CMC Markets. FxPro, unlike most other brokers, does not offer minimum spread ‘guarantees’, though, and as such, this may change in future.

During our research, it became clear that FxPro, Pepperstone, and CMC are competing for the same UK audience: dedicated, active, and professional/semi-professional traders or spread bettors who primarily trade forex and commodities but may want to diversify if the opportunity presents itself.

The real differences are the level of support they offer beginner traders, their costs, their commission-based accounts, the range of instruments they allow you to trade, and the platform integrations you get.

Is FxPro a Good Broker?

Pros
  • Regulated by the FCA, with FSCS protection for eligible UK clients
  • Tight spreads for major FX pairs
  • Focused offering of indicies, commodities, and forex.
  • No stock CFD commissions
  • spread betting options
Cons
  • No equities/stocks to trade
  • Educational content and market analysis are lacking video and update frequency
  • $700 minimum deposit for their commission account

<

FxPro is a solid FX broker; it offers similar platform integrations to Pepperstone (MT4, MT5, TradingView, cTrader), as well as a dedicated commission-based Raw account (like Vantage’s Raw Account and Pepperstone’s Razor Account). They have 2,100+ instruments, so slightly less than Pepperstone’s 2,700+, and significantly less than IG or CMC. However, where FxPro shines is really their native mobile app, great execution speeds and platform integration options – rivalling the best brokers out there. This unique mix makes FxPro really compelling as an all-in-one broker.

I’d recommend using FxPro if you are an intermediate forex or commodities trader looking for a great mobile app, fast execution and no frills. It was one of the first brokers I tried when i first started trading, so it’s great for beginners, but their educational support is lacking somewhat – and since the discontinuation of their proprietary platform FxEdge for UK customers in 2026 (more on that later), you only have platform integration options available, rather than an instant proprietary platform, which will put off a lot of beginner traders.

Verdict

FXPro is a great broker for intermediate forex and commodities traders, but there are some meaningful drawbacks. They have no public-facing spread breakdown of FX pairs, which means spreads might be liable to change at any point (although during our hands-on testing they were very competitive at 0.3-0.5 pips); they have discontinued their proprietary platform (FxEdge), which used to be a great place for beginner traders, and instead are reliant on third-party platform integrations, have the highest minimum deposit for any account: $700 for their Raw Account.

What Can I Trade on FxPro?

Trading Markets – 4 / 5 Stars

FxPro offers 2,100+ instruments, and notably, there are no stocks/equities for UK customers. You can trade indices, forex, commodities and futures (see below), but there are no equities. Now, that might sound obvious for a broker called FxPro – but it will come as a bit of a drawback for multi-asset traders and professionals who are used to platforms like CMC and IG where multi-asset trading is the norm.

FxPro Asset categories, forex, commodities, indicies, futures but no stocks.
FxPro asset categories, forex, commodities, indicies, futures but no stocks.

Now this is interesting for several reasons:

The Positives

  • Their range of forex pairs includes a wide range of minor and exotic pairs – even rivalling the variety we saw with CMC Markets – see below for the TradingView comparison on GBP/PLN.
  • They offer a range of Gold options, including XAUUSD and XAUEUR, but no Gold futures. So if you trade Gold futures, see our list of the best Gold CFD Brokers for UK traders.

The Drawbacks

  • FxPro’s lack of equities is pretty stark and will come as a bit of a shock, especially when traditionally FX-first brokers like Pepperstone offered equities a while ago.
  • 2,100+ instruments is certainly not the widest range out there, but considering their asset base is mostly comprised of FX pairs and indices, it is pretty good – most brokers pad out their instrument list with ETFs to make themselves look bigger than they are, but FxPro has avoided that temptation.

Based on FxPro’s popular markets section, traders seem to trade WTI, XAUUSD, Dow Jones, EURUSD, S&P500, GBPUSD, USDJPY, and Nikkei futures. This is a great combination and doesn’t suggest they’re just an FX broker; it shows futures, commodities, and indices trading are also popular. FxPro seems to be a broker that wants you to have a macro opinion on the world.

What You Can Trade:

  • Forex: Our research (counting their cTrader Forex Major & Minor pairs) found 75 forex pairs to trade, including all majors and minors; however, as of September 2026, a few, like TRY, are disabled due to currency volatility.
  • Indices: You have 19 indices to trade, including big names like the S&P 500, plus Chinese and French indices, as well as the FTSE 100 (UK100). This list doesn’t include the futures; you can also trade futures on most of these indices as well.
  • Commodities: 14 commodity CFDs to trade, including Gold, Natural Gas, Wheat and Soybeans. Once again, you can trade futures on these commodities.
  • Shares & ETFs: None. A major drawback – even for a broker called FxPro.
  • Bonds: None.
  • Interest rate instruments: None.

My Experience:

We traded on cTrader, our preferred platform when it’s available (and luckily it is here), then tested on TradingView as well (see below),, and the instrument list surprised us with the range of exotics.

Connecting FxPro to TradingView
Connecting FxPro to TradingView

Now whilst they don’t have the widest range of forex exotic pairs like CMC, they do have a great selection.

Verdict:

FxPro claims 2,100+ instruments, and whilst this may be true if you include futures; their lack of equities, ETFs, bonds, interest rate options and generally not providing a multi-asset trading experience is what lets them down. Whilst they do have a great selection of forex exotics, and they appear frequently for these on TradingView and other platforms, compared to giants in the space like CMC Markets, FxPro really doesn’t look ‘Pro’ at all.

What Are the Fees for FxPro?

Fees – 3 / 5 Stars

FxPro is not transparent with their spreads and has the single largest minimum deposit that I’ve ever seen: $700 to open a Raw account. Bear in mind that this Raw account is effectively the same as Pepperstone’s Razor account, which is also a 0.0 pip spread account, but Pepperstone’s minimum deposit for a Razor account is £10.

FxPro's $700 minimum deposit for Raw accounts
FxPro’s $700 minimum deposit for Raw accounts

On the positive side, their spreads are some of the most competitive around, even if they don’t shout about them. The best I could find was a table with three options and vague statements about ‘1.2 pips all-in’ (see below). This is a shame because, from our research & hands-on testing, they offer very competitive spreads with very little slippage.

FxPro Platform Comparison page -stating the trading fees across platforms.

Here’s the TLDR: FxPro requires a whopping $700 to open a Raw account, although opening a standard account has no minimum. Their spreads are competitive (see below), but they are not publicly stated. Ultimately, my verdict is that if you want to open a commission-only account, then choose Pepperstone and avoid the $700 USD minimum deposit.

FxPro EUR-crosses spread comparison
FxPro EUR-crosses spread comparison

What to Expect:

  • Forex & Index Spreads: From our testing, we saw EURUSD spreads hover at around 0.3-0.4 pips and USDCAD and other majors at roughly 0.5-0.7 pips. So as far as forex spreads go, this is actually extremely competitive, in line with IG, CMC and other major brokers.
  • Inactivity Fees: FxPro charges a $10 inactivity fee after only 6 months – not even a whole year – just 6 months. This is in stark contrast to most brokers like IG, which abolished their inactivity fee in the UK.
  • Deposit/Withdrawal Fees: There are no internal deposit or withdrawal fees either.

My Experience:

We tested FxPro on Tuesday 29th September at 14.45 – this is during peak US & UK trading times- and we found that FxPro remained an exceptional broker for their spreads; slippage was minimal, and the execution speeds were fantastic.

Trading on FxPro through cTrader
Trading on FxPro through cTrader

Getting 0.5 pip spreads on AUDUSD was great, and all-round spreads were tighter than you’d get on some other major brokers (0.5-0.6 spreads are often broker minimums, not live trading-environment spreads!).

The only frustrating thing is that FxPro neither commits to spreads publicly nor offers a dynamic pricing table like Capital.com. This leaves their only public-facing spread information as 1.2 pip spreads all-in on a random platform comparison page.

Verdict:

FxPro’s spreads are very competitive on their standard CFD trading account. They hover at c. 0.3 pips for majors and 0.5 pips for minors. Considering most other major brokers quote wider spreads as ‘minimums’ (not live-trading environments), FxPro is in line with CMC as one of the most competitive brokers for pricing. However, there are drawbacks: a $700 minimum deposit to open a commission account (Raw account) and a $10 inactivity fee after only 6 months is frankly too much.

FxPro Fees Summary

FxPro is not transparent and makes no public commitment to spreads. They also have the highest minimum deposit for a commission-based account in the UK. However, during testing, their spreads were extremely tight.

What Are FxPro’s Trading Platforms Like?

Trading Platforms – 4 / 5 Stars

During the course of our research, we discovered that FxPro has closed its proprietary FxEdge platform – or at least it is unavailable for UK traders (see below) as of September 2026. This means that FxPro offers TradingView, MT4, MT5, and cTrader.

While this is a huge number of platforms and, frankly, one of the best ranges of integrations, besides Pepperstone, not having a proprietary native web trader puts them at a disadvantage for beginner traders.

FxPro confirming that FxEdge (their proprietary platform) is closed and cannot be activated.

Personally, having used FxEdge before, it was and potentially still is one of the best platforms for beginner traders, but you can neither create a demo account nor a live account with FxEdge anymore (see below).

FxPro's Live & Demo platform offerings - cTrader, MT4, MT5 but no proprietary platform for UK traders.

What’s Available:

  • Proprietary WebTrader: No longer available for UK traders – you can no longer open an FxEdge account.
  • TradingView: Yes, FxPro integrates with TradingView.
  • Mobile App: This is brilliant and a great place for beginners to get started (see below).
  • MT4: Yes, FxPro offers MT4.
  • MT5: Yes, FxPro offers MT5.

My Experience

We tested the FxPro app to see whether it still provided a great user experience, given they now rely on integrations only for their desktop application. We tested this on Tuesday 29th September 2026 and found that they have a combination of unique value propositions that make their app one of the best ways to trade, hands-down.

FxPro Mobile App Discover Tab - Showing trading Signals and Potential Technical Analysis Information
FxPro Mobile App Discover Tab – Showing trading Signals and Potential Technical Analysis Information

Their app has 5 tabs: Home, Fund, Trade, Discover and Profile. Of the 5, Discover is perhaps one of the best options. You can quickly find all the information on trending signals, large macroeconomic events, and even clicking on the respective instrument opens its technical analysis. On Trade, you can quickly find instruments (see below).

FxPro 'Trade' Tab on Their Mobile App

Once you’ve found the instrument, their charting is also really clean – they keep this nice brand consistency of red and blue throughout, making it really easy to find things and kind of reminiscent of MT4.

Placing a Trade on FxPro Mobile App
Placing a Trade on FxPro Mobile App

In short, trading on FxPro feels intuitive if you are using their mobile app. As a fan of cTrader, I also like that they are only one of two brokers – Pepperstone being the other – to offer cTrader, as it’s extremely useful for algorithmic trading. They also offer MT4 and MT5, but true beginners will prefer trading on TradingView or the FxPro app – both are lightweight, charting-first and give clear technical tools to help with trading.

Verdict

If you are looking for a wide range of integrations or are interested in algorithmic trading, then FxPro is definitely a contender. All of their platform integrations offer algorithmic trading options: MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView. However, since FxEdge closed, the best beginner platform for FxPro remains TradingView and their FxPro app – both of which are great. If you are an intermediate or advanced trader, then their algorithmic-friendly platforms are great alternatives.

FxPro has a wide range of platform integration options – cTrader, TradingView, MT4, and MT5 but no proprietary platform for UK traders apart from the mobile app.

Is It Easy to Get Up and Running on FxPro?

Onboarding Process – 5 / 5 Stars

Onboarding on FxPro is remarkably simple; even creating a new account takes seconds. However, their steep $700 Raw account deposit remains a sticking point.

You can set up a standard account with no minimum deposit, KYC is super simple, and you can access all this information in your Profile page.

You can also, quite remarkably, choose to lower your leverage amount if you so choose. In fact, i haven’t seen this feature in another broker before, and speaks to really good practice that I’d like to see other brokers implement (see below). Risk management is a key feature of trading, and this ‘leverage adjustment’ option makes for a great option.

My Experience:

Opening a live account was simple and painless. However, despite our best efforts, we couldn’t select whether this new account was a CFD trading account or a Spread Betting account. This is a major flaw for UK traders; we need to be able to make these decisions that have real tax implications. FxPro has everything right, except for spread betting vs CFD selection. In the end we found out our account was a CFD trading account – not what we wanted – and had to contact support to help us out.

Verdict

Onboarding is simple, as is creating a live account, but no UK-specific needs are met, such as the most important selection between spread betting and CFD trading; this was not present when opening an account, leading to confusion and issues for real-world trading.

Is FxPro a Safe and Regulated Broker?

Regulation and Security – 5 / 5 Stars

Yes, FxPro is a safe and regulated broker in the UK. They are regulated by the FCA under FCA number 509956. We checked the FCA Checker and found all the relevant details (see screenshot below). They’ve been regulated in the UK since 2010, so they have been in business for 16 years.

What Makes Them Safe:

  • FCA Regulation: FxPro is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, which means strict capital requirements, conduct rules, and client‑money protections.
  • Segregated Client Funds: Client money is held in segregated accounts at tier‑one banks, separate from Capital.com’s own operating funds, in line with FCA rules.
  • FSCS Protection: Eligible UK clients benefit from FSCS protection up to £85,000 if FxPro were ever unable to meet its obligations.

My Experience:

FxPro is upfront about its UK regulations, company registration number, and FCA regulation for UK residents. All the respective details are available in the footer of their website.

Is FxPro Beginner‑Friendly?

Education – 3.5/ 5 Stars

Not really. FxPro has a huge mega-menu on their site dedicated to beginner education, but most of the content in their educational courses is text-heavy and light on video or interactivity.

FxPro's Education Mega-Menu

Now, i maintain that FxPro is beginner-friendly when you use their mobile app and trade on TradingView, but remember they are a broker than only has platform integrations for UK traders – cTrader, MT4, MT5 and TradingView. So you would expect more information than they offer in their education section.

FxPro's modular education / courses for beginners
FxPro’s modular education / courses for beginners

What’s Available:

  • Trader Psychology Guide: Like Capital.com, FxPro also offers modules on trader psychology, which is extremely rare amongst UK-licensed brokers.
  • Technical Analysis Guides: FxPro has both fundamental and technical analysis guides for traders, but they are text-heavy, which is a shame given their active YouTube channel (more on that later).
  • Webinars: Yes, FxPro has webinars, but they seem to be quite infrequent; we tested it multiple times during 2026 and still got the same result: ‘There are no upcoming Webinars; please check our YouTube‘.
  • Market Analysis: No, and this is notably missing. The gap that FxPro is supposed to be filling – intermediate to pro-level traders- requires deeper market analysis, but this is not available.

My Experience:

FxPro confirming no webinar availability

After testing their educational resources thoroughly, I came away with two thoughts: their educational offering is largely tokenistic for beginners on their site, but secondly, FxPro’s YouTube does have some genuinely good stuff, albeit slightly more ‘international’ than UK-specific, unlike Pepperstone, which has a purely dedicated YouTube for UK audiences.

FxPro's modular courses on their site

Their YouTube also provides some market analysis, but it’s broad-based and fundamental, so it’s hardly the kind of IG-level insight you’d expect; they also often publish several days apart, so it’s certainly not instant.

FX Pro’s UK Educational Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@FxproCoUk/videos

Verdict:

FxPro is generally not beginner-friendly. Whilst they offer a beginner-friendly mobile app and TradingView integration, they are an integration-only broker in the UK, meaning that since FxEdge was discontinued, they no longer have a quick web platform for beginners to start trading. In terms of educational wraparound support, the modular courses are quite text-heavy, and they have addressed this by adding more videos on their site; even so, their YouTube is the main source of education, given their lack of webinars and market analysis.

Final Verdict

FxPro offers a unique and quite compelling mix. They offer cTrader, MT4, MT5, and TradingView integrations, one of the widest platform offerings from any UK broker, excluding Pepperstone. However, they no longer offer their proprietary FxEdge platform to UK traders, which disadvantages beginners who want a pick-up-and-go option. Their mobile app is one of the best around, with a Trading Signals feature similar to SpreadEx, and their spreads are consistently low at c. 0.3-0.5 pip spreads.

Ultimately though, they are let down by their lack of intermediate to advanced-level market analysis – a requirement in today’s competitive broker landscape- as well as non-public spread information, which can cause potential traders to choose alternative brokers, as well as an extremely steep $700 minimum deposit on their raw account and a $10 inactivity fee after 6 months.

Who Should Use FxPro?

✅ Choose FxPro if:

  • You want tight spreads on major forex pairs (they hover around 0.3-0.5 pips during testing).
  • You are an algorithmic trader looking to build cBots, PineScript or MetaTrader EAs.
  • You want a clean mobile app and expect to trade a lot from mobile.
  • You want a Pepperstone alternative with cTrader, tight spreads, and a commission-based account.

❌ Consider alternatives if:

  • You want wraparound educational support or market analysis whilst trading.
  • You want a proprietary platform rather than integrations.

FAQs

Here are answers to some of the most common questions traders ask about FxPro:

Does FxPro offer spread betting?

Yes, FxPro offers spread betting,, although during our onboarding we found it difficult to locate. We had to contact support as it was not a clear option during account creation – proving difficult for UK traders.

Is FxPro good for advanced traders?

Our research found FxPro to be a good broker for intermediate to advanced traders. They offer tight commission-based account options with fees in line with Pepperstone, the cheapest commission account provider. They also have excellent CFD spreads at 0.3-0.5 pips for EURUSD, which is one of the lowest we’ve found from all major forex brokers. The only disadvantages are the lack of market analysis you would expect from top-tier brokers like IG, CMC, or Pepperstone, as well as the high $700 USD minimum deposit to access their commission-based account. If you want tight spreads, a good commission-based account, and a range of algorithmic platform options, this is a good option. If you are a multi-asset trader who also trades equities, then FxPro doesn’t have this option, so you’d be better suited to IG or CMC Markets.

Is FxPro a good broker for UK traders?

Overall, FxPro is a good broker for UK traders; its main competitors are really Pepperstone, Vantage Markets, and Capital.com. FxPro has a smaller instrument range of 2,100+, so more than Vantage but lower than both Capital.com and Pepperstone, as well as IG and CMC Markets. But overall, it is a dedicated forex, indices, and commodities broker. If you want to trade equities or more complex instruments like Euribor or SONIA, FxPro unfortunately doesn’t offer those options.

Is FxPro better than IG or CMC?

No. Whilst FxPro is arguably better in terms of spreads, or at least on par with CMC Markets’ 0.3 pip spreads for EURUSD, FxPro lacks the instrument variety (no equities), the market analysis, and the proprietary platform offering for UK traders that these other brokers have.
